The following pictures are of my refinery which for the most part is scratch built. There are a couple of MTH tanks and loading platforms but other than those, the rest of the refinery was built from a variety of PVC components to Plastruct as well as POLA kit parts. What you see is the result...there are much nicer models built by professionals but this was my first try...thanks for looking, Alan

Thanks guys!! It took me several months to build this working on it off and on during weekends. It is O-scale and the footprint is triangular with the long side (viewing side) being 9 feet across and about 3 feet deep.

WOW, great modeling.....excellent work.

I will have to check it out further on the other computer as I can really zoom in with that one.

First one? What of a 100 you have done? (thumbs up)

I love it do you have it on a layout?

Thank you CNJRR....Yes, the refinery is on my O-scale layout. If a real petroleum engineer could see it, he/she would find plenty of things wrong with it!!
