Here are some pictures of the new layout. It is 20 ft long and ranging from 8 ft to about12 at the L shaped portion. This is by far the most thought out layout I ever build. I layed track out on the floor to get an idea of the track plan, measured different aspects on the floor for benchwork. The top of the benchwork is 32 inches off the floor and the single track can run two trains in different direction. It will have a second and third level that connect to one another abd a small two tier yeard on the right side of the room.

Its hard to tell with my pictures, the second level just give the illusion of trains going somewhere. They will come down the ramp to the other end and loop back to the ramp.
