Today I want to show how I realize the brake wheel gear box for my boxcar.
two options my wallet (easy) or my hands (little tough).
so AG always has a solution and here is how is made.
We start with a piece of soft brass sheet.

Then we will choose two different diameters punches.

Now on a piece of wood we will proceed to punch the brass sheet using the big one.

an ugly bend piece of brass result from this.

Now using the smallest one we proceed to hit the sheet over the half of the diameter made for the first one.

The piece turn into a unrecognizable part.

Using a flat pliers (no knurling) we will proceed to reshape the borders, making them flat
and one in awhile using both punches we will make the shape punching very soft both diameters.

The unrecognizable piece turn into a recognizable one.

With a jewelry saw we will cut the border
