I bought this 3-rail Atlas SW9 on ebay and it was in bad shape. Looks like it had been ran until it wouldn't move. Traction tires were missing and the entire mechanism had a coating of oil. I cleaned it and converted it to DC. I wanted something unusual for the body so I built a boxcab body from two MTH bay window caboose shells. For the prime mover I wanted something science-fiction so I created the ZRE (Zizzor Rotator Engine), thus all the greeble on the top and side. Instead of my normal purple paint, this unit got the blue/yellow scheme used on T&H water service equipment. Decals made by rail graphics.
