This is a mock up of the deck of a new bridge I am building, I build them now, from the top down usually. This bridge is plastic at this point, but will contain some actual stone down below so it will be weighted at the bottom. I am experimenting with colors, and detail.






The corbels and deck are Pewter, with a dry brushed Country Gray, both acrylics. The base coat above the string course, is an acrylic orange I mixed up, with a gray below the string course. The string course itself is acrylic Yellow Ochre, with a dry brush of acrylic Country Gray.
The finials are stock pewter, with a touch of Red Oxide.

Beautiful bridge Tim. How did you make the placards that the round "beads" are mounted onto?
