Here I've made a frame structure to hold the Polar Express Bell to pull along with my PE train.
The frame is still rough and needs sanding and painting. Just thought I'd share my progress.
I'm not sure what my color sceme will be yet, just the blue and red to closely match the PE,
Please offer suggestions on painting.
Thanks for looking,,,,,,,Doug

Awesome! Where did you get the bell? From a Michael's or A.C. Moore?
Such a great idea!

That's even better. I didn't even realize those Polar Express sets came with a bell.
Thanks for sharing,

Turned out nice! What type of glue do you use on these constructions? I use a hot glue gun but I am finding it to be messy. strings end up all over everything.

I tried Tight Bond II , but it was to slow drying and I didn't have the right kind of small clamps. I ended up using rubber bands.
The adhesive I used was. E-6000, it's clear and fast drying, it does string a little but nothing like the hot glue.
I ordered it through Ace Hardware for a different project.
