This is the roundhouse area of my Erie Lackawanna based layout. As the story goes, (which is actually true although not in the correct time period) The Scranton Pa roundhouse caught fire, for a while the area was still used to store engines. (Now my poetic licence) After the roudhouse burned the track was reworked for service, portions of the burned out structure were not torn down and a single stall engine shed was erected along side the charred ruins. The Lackawanna Camelback is currently housed here just in to pull a special fan trip.

It is early in the morning, Erie-Lackawanna Trainmaster and a GP-7 stil in Erie colors idle in the roundhouse area awaiting assignment.
