An RS3 leads this CNJ train eastbound on the Baltimore & New York Rwy. It was a train that ran from Harrisburg PA to Jersey City over the Reading and CNJ until the mid-1950s. Its westbound counterpart was named the Harrisburger. In later years it had only an express car, a combine and some coaches. In its glory days it had steam power with a big CNJ 4-6-2, an RPO, a diner and parlor car as well. The route was that now followed by US 22 and I-78 through eastern Pennsylvania.
