That is really nice, beautiful work. Did you do the painting yourself ? Great idea for covering a door.

This project was done in 2 stages. However, It didn't start out that way!
The original plan was to go from door(room entrance) to door(mechanical room). After the initial section was installed, about 45 linear feet. It was determined the rest of the room needed to be done. This required changing the louvre door to a solid door, removing the door moldings, repairing the walls, installing new vents, hanging the canvas and then blending the murals .
I have collaborated with an artist, on this project as well as two other projects. The entire mural is painted on canvas. We then applied the canvas to the walls, like one long piece of heavy, unwieldy wall paper!
