Rolling stock, made in brass and wood from scale northeastern scale lumber. Trucks are yoder and kedee couplers.

Very nice work. The 1st boxcar, is it part of a kit or is it all scratch-built. If not a kit Do you use templets when cutting the parts out or plans to make it scale. With our layout about finished I would like to get into building nice stock. Thanks for sharing, Nick

any of them is a kit, I just bought the end a while ago and I made the rest.
well, actually some parts as ladders, brake wheel are buy.

WOW, VERY NICE. I can not wait for our snow to come so I can try my hand at building cars and weathering. I think a flatcar would be a ideal one to start with. Nick

We use 3rail trucks with the big claw couplers. Will that effect the building of the car much. Also what trucks and wheels did you use for the one above. I have checked out Grandt line in the past for add ons, they seem to have a good supply of trucks, wheels and car parts. Thanks for the photos, they will help out in the future. Nick

Nick,
I use Yoder trucks in the first picture,in the last picture i was using a weaver but just for reference.
Grandt Line offer a pretty decent trucks and parts in most of my cars I am using Inter mountain wheels.
