Above is my new town on my 12 x 6 O gugae-Fastrack layout. Buildings need lights, people and various accesories that make things look realistic. It's been a lot of work to get to this point and off course fun!

For my railyard ballast I'm using Brummy's Ballast(David Brumagin, Barberton, OH, Dbrumagin4@netscape.net); the product is ground up rubber in different grades and colors. Easy to work with, helps with Fastrack noise as it insulates, and if it gets in the track loose, the engine or car wheel just flings it to the side unlike a real rock taht can halt your train.

I will be posting more pictures in my profile or blog...whichever one is best for members to acces. I just joined J&C today and have some navigating work to do to get things right.

Thanks! Mark B.

Hi Nick. Thanks for the note. The Ameri-Towne buildings are pretty neat. I've picked up some other buildings on Ebay for penny's on the dollar, particulariy ones in disrepair, that look great once you clean them up, weather them., etc. I've attached a couple pictures that you will like from my mountain area and town.

Thanks Nick. I use Brummy's Ballast, which is ground up rubber in different sizes and color's. It really works well, insulates Fastrack and if it gets in a wheel, it just pops out vs. grinding a wheel and derailing the train.
