A little while ago my daughter knoced my TT bridge off the shelf I had it opn with the thought of her not being able to get to it. I didn't get mad as I probably should not have had it there in the first place. Actually it gave me a good excuse to rewbuild it. Plus I'm going 2 rail and it need to be changed anyway. It's only done a little of the way done as a lotof other things came up. Plus one of the guys from the hobby shop I work at went to Cheyenne and got me some great pics of the turntable.
These are from when my daughter kocked it off the shelf.
Here is the new bridge with the new rail and tieplates.
With the new bridge I got some great tips for the ties from Mike Cougil's Detailing Track book. I have tieplates on every tie and spiking it by hand.
Here are some progress pics.
Here are some new photos of my turn table bridge. I got the track spiked and deck weathered. I got tie plate from ROW. There are close to 200 tieplates and double that in spikes. I got some of the weathering from Mike Cougill'sw Detailing Track book.
