In 2008 I got a RCA Small Wonder video camera and decided it would be fun to make a flat car to mount it on.
This is the first version;
I used two flat pieces of plexiglas with a piece of stryofoam in the center to keep the noise down.
Then I formed a small peice of plexiglas by heating it with a torch and bending it to fit the camera.
F.Y.I. The camera does not have a screw hole for a tri pod mount.
After a few runs and videos I realized the car was too long because the camera picked up the flat car as well.
So I shorten it and painted it flat black to eliminate any glare.
To mount the camera bracket I used a 10-24 thumb screw, nut, and "T" nut.
I drilled 3 holes in the car so the camera bracket could be moved depending on the position of the camera.
