In the mid 1920's J.C. Penny started a retirement community for his employees South of Jacksonville Fla. not far from Green Cove Springs. Today it's a large community and has its own post office.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit their Model Train Club and take a few pictures. The man who is building the scenery is doing an outstanding job ( Bruce ) so I thought I'd like to share some of his talent here in these acrhives. This is a HO gauge layout but many of his ideas can also be used in our O gauge.
