Probably the most enjoyable part of this hobby for me anyway, is doing research and development, experimenting with different items that are designed for other purposes, but that might crossover, into our world. This is an experiment that I am in the midst of. The core is EPS foam, painted on all sides, top and underneath with acrylic paint as a base coat in order to seal the foam, and add toughness, and a surface for adhesion. Then I applied the stonework.
Here is another photo of the bridge after I repainted it with the color Sandstone as the base coat, re-painting over top the color Sand, Sandstone being much less yellowish. I think this looks a lot better.
