Wow that is quite a beautiful photo Frank! Great use of light, combined with detailed modeling, and still managed to get some 3-rail track in there to prove it's not a real scene. Wonderfully done!

Curious: was this taken from a camera mounted on a train on the track?

Thanks John. I think the camera was placed on a bean bag on the track, but definitely not shot from a train. Although it could very well be the perspective of a passenger looking out the back window of the observation car.

Nice picture. I also have used a beanbag along with a remote shutter release. Because the camera often is in a place were I couldnâ??t use the viewfinder, Iâ??ll take multiple shots and hope one of them is good. Your photos manage to have incredible depth of field, what camera lens combination are you using?
