35 Cents for Lunch! Just a few cents more than a gallon of gas back then. Try that nowadays. Oh sure, a gallon of gas at $4.00 plus will buy a Happy Meal even if you 'go large'. But no way will it cover the cost of a meal at a Mom & Pop sit-down eatery. Boy Frank, your layout certainly does harken back to the "Good Ole' Days". Thanks for the memories.
Dying to know what's going on in the upper stories of the building behind the Diner. There must be a story behind it. Does it have anything to do with the Home For Wayward Girls?
