Great scene, only drawback I can see is no ballast on the track on right side of picture. Could be hidden
in photoshop. Otherwise a very strong contender.

I concur with Richard E , the lighting is very good, and agree with Jim that the trees are excellent.

Well executed. I also like your craft in creating the trees, and the way you positioned the cattle. Who did the barn, looks well maintained.

As a "newbie" and seeing many of these skills for the first time, let me say that you folks NEVER cease to amaze me! Truly an amazing scene! I wish I had 1/2 the creativity to complete something like this! Not only the skills to create it but also the ability to envision it! I have always been jealous of individuals with artistic abilities!

This is an amazing photo, in many ways - very nice work wsdimenna.

Strogey - don't be discouraged. Nobody comes up with a scene that beautiful on the first try! Work on things little by little, and you'll find yourself making great progress. And ask these guys questions on how they did it - I've learned a lot that way.

Cheers,

John

Ahhh, face the dog away from the camera. LOL
I really like this scene! I hope to see it again sometime with some weathering on the "new" barn
and on the cows legs (from dan19's "cow poo..). This really is looking good! Love the trees too.

thanks everyone for the comments. this actually is an unfinished scene taken from the back of the actual scene. The reason for no ballast is that the section of track is the back side of an elevated plate grider section. The barn does need weathering along with covering the base plate. So much to d so little time. the photo was shot where there is now a plowed field (fall). I did have some cow poo in the box from woodland scenics, but it was too shiney
